The cars of the future will not only serve as transportation tools but also as advanced smart electronics. Automotive electronics are evolving toward centralization, intelligence, connectivity, and modularization, integrating environmental sensing, decision planning, and multi-level assisted driving functions into a comprehensive system. Image sensors act as the "eyes" of this system.
Automotive applications demand higher chip performance. For example, 360-degree surround-view camera modules have limited PCB space (16mm × 16mm) and poor heat dissipation. Combined with direct sunlight exposure, working temperatures can exceed 80°C. Meanwhile, driving at night poses challenges due to low light and headlight interference. CIS solutions must maintain stable operation under both high temperatures and low-light conditions while delivering clear images with accurate colors.
GalaxyCore’s advanced pixel technology and circuit design ensure excellent imaging in low-light conditions and stable image quality in high-temperature environments. Currently, our products are widely used in aftermarket applications such as dashcams, 360-degree surround-view cameras, rearview cameras, and driver monitoring systems (DMS). We are actively developing OEM products that meet AEC-Q100 automotive-grade standards. In the future, leveraging our extensive experience in smartphone and IoT imaging solutions, GalaxyCore will further advance its front-mounted automotive product lineup—stay tuned!
