On June 6, 2025, GalaxyCore officially launches the GC20C3, its latest generation 2-megapixel CMOS image sensor (CIS). Tailored for the core imaging needs of intelligent IoT applications, the GC20C3 delivers significant improvements in power efficiency, noise control under high-temperature and low-light conditions, and overall image consistency. This enhanced sensor provides a stable imaging foundation for monocular and multi-camera IoT devices, dashcams, and more—enabling better image quality and recognition accuracy.
Powered by GalaxyCore’s proprietary FPPI® technology, the GC20C3 features optimized pixel processing and circuit design, resulting in reduced noise and improved low-light sensitivity. Even under high temperatures of up to 80°C, the GC20C3 maintains low dark current— surpassing some larger-pixel CIS solutions on the market—ensuring clean and clear image output even in challenging environments.
Equipped with a built-in 10-bit ADC (Analog-to-Digital Converter) and Image Signal Processor (ISP), the GC20C3 supports easy programming control through a simple two-wire serial interface. Compared with its predecessor, power consumption has been reduced by 30%. Additionally, the sensor supports AOV (Always On Video) and low-power Quick Start, making it ideal for ultra-low power consumption scenarios.
The GC20C3 is designed with a 35-pin interface, enabling seamless integration and smooth product performance upgrades on existing hardware platforms.
Specifications of GC20C3
