The Sixth Batch of Manufacturing Single-Champion Enterprises
Recently, in accordance with the review requirements of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization announced the list of manufacturing single-champion enterprises that passed the third and sixth batch of reassessments. GalaxyCore was selected.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the Implementation Plan for the Special Action to Cultivate and Enhance Manufacturing Single-Champion Enterprises in March 2016. The Implementation Plan proposes that manufacturing single-champion enterprises refer to those that have long focused on specific niche markets in manufacturing, possess internationally leading production technologies or processes, and hold a top global market share in individual product categories. Following GalaxyCore's initial recognition as a sixth-batch manufacturing single-champion enterprise in 2021, this latest selection reaffirms the Company's sustained competitiveness and product leadership in the CMOS image sensor field.
2025 WEAA "Innovative Enterprise of the Year"
The World Electronics Achievement Awards (WEAA), organized by global electronics media AspenCore, is one of the highly recognized awards in the international electronics industry. It focuses on enterprises' practical achievements in product innovation, technological breakthroughs, and industry advancement.
GalaxyCore received the “Innovative Enterprise of the Year” award in recognition of its sustained innovation efforts over the past year. Key milestones include the launch of the GalaxyCell® 2.0 pixel process platform, the introduction of LOFIC HDR, the development of next-generation ultra-low-power sensors, and the release of multiple new products across mobile, wearable, IoT, AI PC, and automotive markets.
IATF 16949 Quality System Certification
IATF 16949 is the global automotive industry's general quality management system standard, with stringent requirements for product R&D, manufacturing control, delivery services, quality consistency, traceability, and continuous improvement. The certification indicates that the Company has the quality system foundation for automotive-grade products and is a key prerequisite for entering the automotive electronics supply chain.
Operating under a Fab-Lite model, GalaxyCore has established a fully integrated collaboration with design in Shanghai Zhangjiang, wafer fabrication in Shanghai Lingang, and packaging and testing in Jiashan, Zhejiang. As GalaxyCore's packaging and testing base, the Jiashan Factory has CIS and DDIC packaging and testing production lines, with R&D capabilities for advanced packaging technologies such as COM and OIS, and operates under a comprehensive quality management system.
Following the Lingang Fab's certification in August 2024, both the Shanghai headquarters and Jiashan Factory have successfully obtained IATF 16949 certification, marking the establishment of full-chain, automotive-grade mass-production capabilities across the GalaxyCore Group.
From a manufacturing single-champion enterprise to automotive-grade quality system certification, these three honors collectively demonstrate the Company's phased achievements in market performance, R&D innovation, and quality system development.
