GalaxyCore Partners with the 8th China Postgraduate IC Innovation Competition
The China Postgraduate IC Innovation Competition is a nationwide integrated circuit (IC) design practice contest for graduate students from universities and research institutes across the country. With the mission of “Innovation, Selection, and Cultivation”, the competition seeks to nurture the next generation of IC talent. Since the launch of its predecessor, the “GalaxyCore Cup” IC Professional Contest in 2017, GalaxyCore has been a steadfast partner of the competition for nine years.
This year’s competition attracted 4,160 master’s and doctoral students, representing 1,483 teams from 206 graduate training institutions. GalaxyCore contributed by setting five enterprise-themed challenges, presenting medals to instructors, and engaging directly with students at the talent fair—sharing career opportunities and insights into cutting-edge technologies.
By supporting young innovators, GalaxyCore is helping to build a reserve of future talent for the chip industry.

Winners of the 38th China Adolescents Science & Technology Innovation Contest Visit GalaxyCore
The China Adolescents Science & Technology Innovation Contest is a leading nationwide competition for young innovators. At the 38th edition, GalaxyCore established two special honors: the GalaxyCore Special Award and the Xiong Youlian Award for Outstanding Science Teachers, recognizing ten outstanding projects and ten exemplary educators.
GalaxyCore specially invited award-winning teachers and students to visit its headquarters, wafer fab, packaging and testing facility, as well as its partner sites—offering a firsthand look at the entire IC process, from design and wafer fabrication to packaging and testing. Participants also engaged in face-to-face dialogues with corporate executives. Beyond the company, they explored key innovation landmarks including the Shanghai IC Science & Technology Museum, Zhangjiang MOLO Community, Robot Valley, and the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum’s Natural History and Astronomy Halls. Through such initiatives, GalaxyCore fuels young people’s passion for scientific exploration and supports their aspirations to push the boundaries of the industry.

Tsinghua University Adopts GalaxyCore OIS Actuator Technology in Research Published Internationally
A research team from Department of Precision Instrument, Tsinghua University, recently published its latest findings in the prestigious international journal "Light: Science & Applications". The study introduces a novel dual-modal LiDAR system capable of switching between beam-scanning and flash detection modes, significantly improving 3D sensing accuracy and adaptability.
Central to this achievement was the GCDS01A, which is an optical image stabilization actuator provided by GalaxyCore, and this actuator enables micron-level precision displacement control to support critical beam scanning functions. By delivering high-performance products, GalaxyCore empowers cutting-edge research and continues to energize the innovation ecosystem of the industry.
